First book of the English edtion presented to the Mayor of The Hague

This afternoon the first book of the English edition ‘Jean Baptiste Discart (1855-1940); Oriental paintings and Dutch portraits’ was presented by the author (Theo Kralt) to the Mayor of The Hague, Mr. Jan van Zanen in the Townhall in The Hague Centre. 

I told the Mayor the painter Discart was already on Facebook since he painted his first painting in 1879!

The painting we hold together is a painting of a girl in Volendam, signed J.B. Discart, 1918.
